Dr. Liu is the absolute best!!! His professional, yet easy-going manner, made me feel totally comfortable asking him questions. In fact, during my initial lap band consultation with him, I had dozens (dozens) of questions. He answered each and every one of them so that I could understand, and helped me complete my personal research regarding the gastric bypass procedure. He was great about explaining all of the risks, and was good about describing his views about the importance of quality aftercare. After meeting with other doctors in this field, I knew in my heart that he was the one. And I was right!
He is an excellent surgeon, and his bedside manner cannot be beat! He was wonderful about controlling my post-surgical discomfort, and his practice checked up on me multiple times a day. On top of that, his wonderful staff, from his Nurse Practitioner (Christina Kim) to his Coordinator (Gedeon Ismael), practically held my hand throughout the process (Pre-opt and post-opt). They are a warm and wonderful group of people. I feel blessed having them in my life, and I look forward to a long friendship with each and every one of them.
